Choose AC311 when the distance between your screen and projector is limited. Its 1.1:1 throw ratio produces an approximately 100-inch picture from 7.9 feet away.

01 / Your room

Start with the space you have.

A short-throw lens gives you more freedom in a room where the sofa and screen are close together. Measure from the lens to the screen, then check the image from your usual seat before choosing a permanent position.

Keep room behind the projector for cables and airflow. Digital zoom changes the picture size; it does not move the projector closer to the wall.

02 / Room to room

Adjust the angle. Take it with you.

The rotating stand helps you find a comfortable projection angle and doubles as a carry handle when you move. Set AC311 on a stable surface, aim it at your screen and keep the ventilation openings clear.

For an outdoor movie, choose a dry evening after sunset and plan for a power outlet. The portable design does not include battery operation.

03 / Picture setup

Let the picture settle into place.

Autofocus and automatic keystone correction help you restore the picture after moving the projector. Begin with the lens facing the center of the screen, then use the controls for any final adjustment.

Look at subtitles or a menu from your seat to check focus. AC311 displays at native 1920 × 1080 resolution, including when it decodes supported 4K content.

The models shown here have a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. They can accept or decode supported 4K content, which is displayed at the projector’s native resolution.

Can I watch outside?

Plan for a dry evening after sunset, a stable surface, a suitable screen and access to power. Outdoor viewing does not mean the projector is waterproof or battery powered.

Are streaming subscriptions included?

No. Supported apps may require your own account and a paid subscription. App availability and features can vary by software version and region.
